MONITORING

Up North Studios has been mixing with professional Alesis Monitor One MKII speakers for years complete with a 12" Polk Audio Subwoofer. We use an Auratone Monitoring speaker to check mixes and masters in mono. The system is powered by a Samson Servo 300 power amplifier. The equipment is housed on a custom-made maple desk in a digitally referenced and sound treated room. This experience and equipment makes the biggest difference in optimizing mastering abilities for clients who have mixes but need new ears and a high-quality setup to master the project.
